Davis HHS 320 Kelly Martin May 12, 2019 RELIGION ASPECT CULTURE 2 Introduction Religion and culture are two complex and inseparable in different ways. They share many values such as historical, economic, political, and social among many others in common (Bruno, 2011). For example, both European and Arab culture are influenced by religion. European culture being influenced Christianity while the latter is being influenced by Islam some of the developmental theories include Jean Piaget, Ronald Goldman, and David Elkind theories. There are also challenges to religion in relation to gender and age. Some of the major world religions include Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Islam as some of the example. Culture is the collective programming of the human mind that distinguishes the members of one group from those of another is a system of collectively held values basically the glue that holds society together. Sociology has defined seven aspects of culture that are universal.
