Running head: TED LIEU Ted Lieu Issues Name Instructor Course Date 2 TED LIEU Ted Lieu Issues I come from California 33 district and my house representative in the congress is Ted Lieu. In addition to having held different political positions in U.S., Lieu was elected as the house representative of California district 33 in the year 2015. Lieu has been contribution to legislation matters relating to key phenomena in the U.S society. The discussion below portrays the good character of Lieu. However, part of the discussion below will also portray the negative character of Lieu. Lieu has been standing against climate change since the time he was elected into the congress in 2015. On entrance to congress, the first bill that Lieu introduced was Climate Solutions Act (Nguyen, 2019). The bill outlined on the need to conserve environment by avoiding emissions from factories and other places that could alter the behavior of the climate of California. To avoid the pollution of environment, Lieu had proposed in the bill that renewable sources of energy had to be sought. I strongly agree with the proposal of Lieu because, we need a safe air to inhale and adequate and reliable rains here in California district. Therefore, Lieu is a good congressman who is able to fight against environmental degradation (Nguyen, 2019). Secondly, Lieu is a major in computer science and therefore he is a very resourceful congressman when it comes to technological matters. This year, Lieu has introduced a ...
