The agency that is currently carrying out these services is known as Information Technology Australia, and it is fully owned by the Commonwealth government of Australia. The report will show the calculation that will guide the execution of the plan. Six proxy companies have been selected to aid in the computation of the Information Technology Australia beta. Ultimately the best price for the shares is established. Proxy Companies Following the consideration by the Australia government to offer to the public the stake of Information Technology Australia, a business that provides IT services, the need for a proxy firm arises. The firm will help in determining the probable beta for the company that is, Information Technology Australia (ITA). The beta of a company is the determination of a security’s volatility in comparison to the entire market. The following companies which offer the same services as the ITA can be used as proxies; they include computer share, MYOB Group, Technology One, Wise Tech, LiveHire, and RedBubble.
