Running head: ADVENTURE WORKS BUSINESS Adventure Works Business Nic Brown Rasmussen College 1 ADVENTURE WORKS BUSINES 2 Adventure Works Business Executive Summary The main objective of Nike, among its other objectives, involves to encourage inspiration and innovation to athletes worldwide and develop products that help athletes reach their athletic potential. The problem here that is of focus and that needs a solution involves the issue of competition. This is because the two companies heavily incorporate business intelligence (BI) and big data analytics thus bringing about stiff competition between the two companies. In order for Nike to solve the issue of competition and become more competitive success can be traced to its strategic planning, which incorporates numerous elements of business intelligence (BI) and the data analytics. The company may also develop a digital big data analysis framework to achieve the set goals, significantly reducing production costs and extend product availability through online sales. Nike may adopt the new technologies. The option that Nike can use as solution to the issue include the use of collected data Incorporation of latest technology. The one specific solution that I would recommend is for Nike Inc. to incorporate the new and latest technologies in all areas of the company operations.
