Rhetoric criticism is carried out by an analyst who has majored in the speech and communication field. When one conducts a thorough rhetoric criticism, one is able to understand what triggered or motivated a rhetoric critic into coming up with the specific ideology and argument outlined and stated, in relation to the film under analysis (Foss, 2017). Moreover, one is able to understand the stand the rhetoric critic took in his or her analysis as well as the cultural ideologies the rhetoric critic possesses as well as understanding the effects the cultural ideologies have on the rhetoric critic. Additionally, a rhetoric analysis of a certain film or movie shows how traditional elements related to the rhetoric element under review and how the traditional elements of a movie or film have an effect either positive or negative to the review’s ideologies, perceptions, and analysis of other rhetoric analysis in general.
