Wrong documentation leads to a wrong interpretation of the client’s needs. The role of objectivity in documentation is to ensure that the written document reflect the needs of the client (Sidell, 2011). This ensures that resources used in solving the client’s problems are the appropriate ones. Scenario 1 The client is depressed from taking care of her mother who is ill. Her mother is also very demanding, and this makes it more difficult for the client. When discussing the client’s problem, it is important to come up with ways in which the client’s depression will go away and reduce the negative effects of the depression.
