These myths vary due to the different narratives that arise from the numerous cultures in the world. In relation to the Chinese people, the most famous tale is that of P' an Ku or pangu. They believed that P' an-Ku evolved inside a huge cosmic egg that contained all the elements of the universe and that he was the first living creature in the world.
