Abstract

The peer review of the Clinical Education Project article aimed at assessing the importance of

implementing the peer-reviewed evidence and recommendations of the project to enhance the clinical

placement and clinical assessment provision strategies for midwifery and nursing. In the health and

considering barriers to efforts of peer appraisals by use of peer reviews can help in suggesting several

ways of supporting line managers, available time for training, and good timing for peer appraisals.

Peer reviewing is vital since it enables the nurses to be more responsible in their services and

the general unit performance. Checking is relevant since a reliable source of review facilitates good

communications, improving performance, and a successful appraisal. The relevant information from

the peer-reviewed article of Clinical Education Project is that it points out the significance of using

the technique of reviewed articles since it reduces bias, unfair and inaccurate possibilities of the

nurses' performance, making it a valuable source of feedback in the hospital (Rout & Roberts, 2008).

The research question aimed at discovering how peer review is essential and how it's used in

midwifery and nursing education and practice. Clearly stating the research question, the study aims at

identifying how the peer-reviewed articles are essential to the appraisal procedures to both an

individual and the whole unit of nursing and midwifery (Rout & Roberts, 2008). The project aimed to

investigate and analyze the results of clinical assessment of pre-registration midwives and nurses.

According to the review, the project also focused on evaluating the introduction of peer reviews in

clinical settings of clinical evaluations.

Literature review

The literature review of the article has pointed out the ascertainments of using peer review

articles in nursing and midwifery practice and education. The literature has also pointed out that the

reviewed article helps identify the weaknesses and strengths of different nurses and midwifery unit
