Re: The Recording Process of March 15
th
Transactions
Message
I want to take this opportunity to illustrate the steps that I undertook in the recording process
of the March 15
th
Transactions. I considered using the two most common transaction of the
company, which are:
Billing customers for services performed.
Payment of employees Salaries.
The transaction recorder under Billing customers for services performed is illustrated under
this section (Yusup, Padeli, & Ilamsyah, 2017). Usually, when a customer is billed for the service
performed, like in the case of the transaction that took place March 15
th
, the journal entry would
be as follows:
Account Receivable Dr. 6600
Sales Account Cr. 6600
After the billed payment is received, the journal entries for the date of receipt will be as follows:
Cash/Bank Account Dr. 6600
