When someone believes in something, they always have two choices; to abandon the belief or to keep holding onto their belief. Among the best songs of the 80s, this song is very special to me. When I was young, I lost my mother, and I remember she always told me to keep the faith. I remember listening to this song over and over again, and the song never let me down as it was what my mother told me when said, keep the faith. I was going through a rough time in my life, and when I prayed and asked for God strength, this song would play and I felt the connection, and no matter what happened I never lost the faith, but I kept believing. A long as we hold believe that it exists; there is always something out there that is great. In this article, I will be analyzing the song. 'Don't stop believing' by Journey. The song Don’t stop believing is about a typical search for love and also fear of being alone, the lyric is a metaphor representing all the things that we turn to an attempt to fill the void in our hearts and so we may escape the pain, loneliness and the feeling of emptiness. The chorus is an optimist counterpart to this feeling, it is, in fact, a lonely world but we should not stop believing, finding love is not easy, but with hopes the pain and the loneliness is bearable.
