What is a mobile web application?
In order to discuss the topic, we rst need to know what exactly a mobile
web application is. In general, mobile web applications are actual
applications that are downloaded and installed on our mobile device, rather
than incorporating it inside a browser. Users visit doorways and resources
based on the device such as Apple’s App Store, Android’s Play Store, or
Blackberry App World so as to discover and download apps for a given
working framework. The application retrieves content and data from the
Internet in the same way as from a website or it may download the
information with the goal that it can be accessed without an Internet
connection [Smith, M (2014)].
Examples of commonly used mobile web applications
In this fast age of technology, more or less everyone amongst us uses a
smart phone. Thousands of mobile applications are being developed each
day in order to ease the users of smart phones. With this growing trend,
mobile web applications have become a necessity. There are hundreds of
mobile web applications but a few of the most commonly used are listed
below:
1- Facebook
2- Gmail
3- YouTube
