Part A: Climate Change and Biodiversity
Humans should be concerned about climate change for a variety of reasons. Ecosystems
are being impacted by climate change, and they will continue to do so unless the problem is
tackled with suitable techniques. To commence, climate change refers to the possible dangers
current and future environment, which have resulted in environmental hazards. For example,
environmental contamination has exacerbated health problems; as a result, the threat that the
ecosystem represents to the world is significant, and it is equally important as economic and
military protection. Environmental issues are a larger threat to both economic and political
security because environmental consequences such as global warming will have a significant
effect on the population. Droughts and other environmental dangers have killed and continue to
kill millions of people around the world. As a result, environmental security should be prioritized
alongside economic and military security.
As well, the issues emanating from the environment due to environmental degradation
and climate changes have led to the existence of imbalance between ecosystems, i.e., people,
environment, animals, aquaculture, oceans, etc. the imbalance in ecosystem poses a danger that
has more or equal ramification to that of economic and military dangers (Barnett, 2018). Some
countries have a working economic and military security systems but they lack food security due
to climate change (Baer & Singer, 2016). As such, the environment dangers can undermine
economic activities for the countries that rely on agriculture more so to the third world countries.
Also, the environmental threat will as well have a ramification of the military as a means of
