This is exactly 100 years since the British Luxury Liner, the Lusitania sank in the sea on its final voyage from New York to Liverpool. The book tries to explain the events that took place during that time and what led to the sinking of the ship. It also tries to go into detail on whether the disaster could have been prevented had there been sharing of naval Intel. It was after the sinking of the luxury ship that the United States joined the war as it had maintained a neutral stand on the German-British war (Zimmerman, 2018). The author of the book is Eric Larson. He was born in the year 1954. He was raised in New York. He then took one year of then studied Journalism at the Columbia University and graduated in the year 1978.
