In the play titled ‘Taming the Shrew' by William Shakespeare, several women play different positions. Additionally, the women in the play have various capabilities that outline their different abilities, as well as differences in their characters. Some of the women in the play include the Baptista daughters who are called Katherina and Bianca. Katherina is the eldest daughter and is considered to be a shrew. For instance, the people of Padua describe Katherina as the old ill-mannered and bad-tempered daughter of Baptista.
