The carbon footprint is important as it helps us control and monitor the greenhouse effect. It is important that carbon dioxide emissions are minimized all over the world to ensure the prevention of global warming as a result of climate change. These shifting climatic patterns may result in less agricultural production and more hunger and malnutrition all over the world.
