the sustainability need, the elemental significance of the concern has only been realized over the
past few years. This is with regard with the distinction given to climate change problems.
According to London 2012 Adopts Global Sustainability Standard (2012), while a greater part of
the sustainability discussion affects the environmental aspect, true sustainability also involves
both the economic and social aspects. These elements fall under the group usually known as
triple bottom-line sustainability (Supple, 2010). Currently, there is broad realization of the
prominence that tourism and sport plays in the international economy in relation to social and
economic contributions and growth potential. In this vein, it is vital that the collaborative
relationship between tourism and sport and sustainability is comprehended. From an ethical
viewpoint, it is imperative to comprehend the effects that tourism and sport has on the outside
environment to manage these impacts more effectively (Mol, 2010). However, it is also
significant that the change effects in the outside environment on the tourism and sport
sustainability are comprehended to guarantee an enduring feasibility of the sector (Aspinall,
Cukier & Doberstein, 2011).
In this research paper, Olympics have been used as a context in which, social,
environmental and economic sustainability will be addressed. Furthermore, this focus will also
deal with Olympics from social, economic and environmental points of view. Few research
studies have been conducted on sustainability and methods through which, it has developed or
declined with the continued performance of Olympics around different continents. First, a
