He is also known as Tomobumi Hobun and he’s well known for his accomplishment during the war. During the World War two, Yamashita conquered Singapore, Malaya and was later sent to lead and command the Philippines defense. He was successful in his career which he began after graduating in 1905 from Army academy, became an officer and rose rapidly becoming the general of his time. Later on, he was hanged after being tried and convicted for war crimes committed under his command. Yamashita Treasure is also referred to as Yamashita's Gold. The treasure is claimed to be stolen valuables during the world war two by the Japanese forces from countries in South East of Asia. These valuables were stolen from temples, museums, banks, churches, private homes and depositories. After they were looted, it is alleged that they were buried and hidden in tunnels, underground complexes in the Philippines and in caves.
