Introduction
The relationship between a company and its employees is based on the concept of each
party mutually benefitting from the other. When companies are recruiting prospective
employees, they consider a lot of qualities that align with the company’s needs. Similarly,
employees source for companies with the best benefits and compensation plans beyond a normal
wage or salary. An extra incentive makes the employee feel valued and part of a transparent
compensation system, where benefits are based on job analysis, job evaluation, pay design and
levels. Compensation plan play a significant role in the augmentation of the company and its
employees, while at the same time controlling the cost of operation. Google Inc. is among the

compensation strategies as illustrated in its job evaluation and pay level designs. Google’s has
invested in its employees to ensure that they are highly motivated and providing the best services
for the promotion of the company’s interests and its stake holders. These strategies are vet for the
primary objective of achieving long-term augmentation, profitability, and company’s success

A compensation system is a precise description of employee’s benefits that, categorized
under pay levels and designs, job analysis and evaluations. These are comprised of salaries,
wages, and benefits comprising of additional incentives for the employees. The system ensures
that employees’ needs are accommodated and equally compensated without pay gaps that arise
