Employee performance reviews are a critical part of the company or organization that
will help determine how well the employees are working or the organization is being run.
Employee performances are described as either poor performances or cases of misconduct, either
minor or gross. Poor performance is when there is low output, yet the employee is at the
workplace on time attributed to laziness or lack of motivation. On the other hand, misconduct
refers to acts that go against the standards of an organization and do not necessarily depend on
the performance. Most companies conduct annual reviews to determine the performances of the
employers and compare that with the annual revenue and gains. The way an employer handles
workplace performance issues such as misconduct will evaluate the organization's progress and
employee turnover. Some people would prefer either positive enhancement or negative

employee’s performance standards that every employee of the organization is expected to abide
by at all times. I would also identify and share with Jim the critical elements of the organization
that they were falling into.
Since Jim has been working well for the last nine months, I would be interested in finding
the other side of the story concerning what was happening to him. Some acts of misconduct
