People keep pets because they are excellent companions and comforting at the same time, some of these animals are so playful, and they fill the hearts of the keeper with joy when they are stressed. Children, who keep pets, feed and care for them also tends to be more responsible, and their self-esteem is enhanced. Animals that are perceived to be aggressive only respond to a threat for instance if an animal is raised in a hostile environment they will most likely be aggressive in order to defend themselves. Aggressive animals should be used as pets, but this should happen at the early stages of their lives as they can still be tamed by human beings to change their aggressive behavior.
