ITP Work Breakdown Schedule 2
Work Breakdown Schedule
During the preparation of the above work breakdown schedule, all necessities included in
the projects charter have been met. The work breakdown schedule development was process-
oriented to guide the project team in executing the whole project with ease and fewer
complications. Through excel, we came up with the Work breakdown schedule, which is tabular
in design.
(Watt, 2014) Work breakdown models are classified into top-down models and bottom-
up models. A top-down approach determines the final product being developed, and then small
chunks of tasks are identified, which together make up the final product. Contrary to the top-
down approach, the bottom-up approach first identifies small tasks. The team continuously
brainstorms on how to develop towards the achievement of the intended final product. For the
ITP project, the top-down approach has been used as the team is working towards developing a
specific system for Mamma Mia's Bakery.
