While religion is one of the most divisive topics across the world, it is as old as the existence of man. As long as man has existed, there have been religious teachings and practices with which man has associated. With the diversity in religious culture, practices, and teachings, Judaism and Christianity perhaps, share the closest similarity. While there are many reasons behind these trends, it is perhaps the fact that they began at the same time that has been responsible for the similarities. These two religious groups share almost similar beliefs about deity and sacred texts. Besides, both of the groups have places that they consider to be sacred and central to their belief systems. Among the Jews, the Western Wall, also known as the ‘Wailing Wall', is the most sacred place. On the other side, among the Christians, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher represent the most significant aspect of their faith. Notably, there are issues central to the heart of these religious groups, which make these places critical to the religious groups. Each year, thousands of people visit these places to worship.
