Introduction
Non-alcoholic beverages are an up and rising industry, which not only includes soft
drinks but also includes hot drinks. Soft drinks, sometimes referred to as “Liquid Refreshment
Beverages or LRBS” (Bailey, 2014), also include bottled water, which will be the beverage
under main focus in this paper.

Firstly, the water industry is going to be facing many issues due to the change in environment and the decreasing water supplies. But it is this future expected depletion of water supplies that makes it such a valuable commodity and an excellent business deal. Investing in this industry and securing water resources now, would enable us to fully utilize its potential once the time arises. Its market value will go through the roof, once the consumer demand avalanches the supply. Secondly, it’s because the statistics prove that the rate of bottled water has been increasing lately, and drastically. The U.S bottled water consumption has increased by 6.2% in 2012 and the sales have also seen an improvement of 6.7% (IBWA, 2013). Lastly, bottled water has become the new, healthier, trend. People are moving towards bottled water to avoid the health risks that come from fizzy drinks and tap water.
