While this may not be the case with direct engagement with consumers, this should serve as a cautionary tale on how social media reporting can rapidly change customer perceptions. While there are many social media platforms available, the integration of social media should be focused to avoid oversaturation and loss of focus. As mentioned above, social media should demonstrate differentiation, enable communication, and build loyalty. In terms of differentiation, video media provides the best opportunity to showcase product features and benefits.
