Unit of analysis
My unit of analysis is the Ford Motor Company, an automobile firm that assembles,
designs, markets, and services a range of automobiles like cars, utility vehicles, Ford trucks, and
Lincoln luxury vehicles. I chose this corporation since it mainly operates in certain segments
such as Ford credit, mobility, and automotive. The mobility segment includes the development of
Ford's independent vehicles and associated businesses, while the automotive segment involves
creating, manufacturing, distributing, and servicing the automobiles, parts, and Lincoln and Ford
vehicles’ accessories. The Ford credit segment consists of the Ford credit business on a
combined source, and it is primarily associated with financing and leasing vehicle activities.
Through Ford credit, the company is able to provide a wide range of automotive financing
products. Ford Motor company has been ahead of other automobile companies due to its best
SUVs and pickup trucks, unbeatable value and features, innovation, and outstanding green
engineering.
SWOT analysis
The Ford Motor Company has various strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
based on the SWOT analysis. The things that I consider to be the most crucial in relation to the
company’s strengths are the company retaining a commanding market position and enjoying a
strong brand value. Enjoying a strong brand value has helped Ford to penetrate into the market,
and it has become a market leader which continues to date with efficient, cost-effective and
reliable imperatives at the core of the corporation (Enkhbayar, 2018). The most sound issues
about the company's weaknesses include overdependence on SUVs and trucks and dependence
