Read Chapter 8:  Information Governance and Legal Functions.  According to the authors, Smallwood, Kahn, and Murphy, IG is one of the functional areas that impact legal functions the most. In this project you will be editing a document from the Winter Springs community. You will add WordArt and pictures to the document. You will add alt text to a picture. You will modify the size and position of pictures and apply a Quick Style to a picture. Finally, you will create a table and add data to the table and then display the data as a chart. The start file will be renamed automatically to include your name. Change the file name if directed to do so by your instructor and save it. If the document opens in Protected View, click the Enable Editing button in the Message Bar at the top of the document so you can modify the document. Add WordArt to a document. Place the cursor at the top of the document (not in the header). Insert WordArt using the Fill: Black, Text color 1; Shadow style. Change the WordArt text to: Winter Springs Community News Change the layout of the WordArt to be in line with the text. Add a chart to the document. Place the cursor on the blank line after the first paragraph in the Most Targeted Electronic Devices section. Insert a Clustered Bar chart. Change the data in the chart to match the table below. Table lists the most targeted electronic devices over a span of 3 months. Hide the chart title on the chart. Add a column and a row to a table. Place the cursor in the first cell in the table under the Upcoming Safety Improvements section. Add a column to the right of the existing column. Place the cursor in the first cell again and insert a row above the first row in the table. Enter data in a table. In the first cell of the new row, type: Improvement In the second cell of the new row, type: Approval Status Add the status for each modification as shown in the table below. Table lists upcoming safety improvements and the corresponding approval status for each. It is in the Grid Styles section of the gallery. Apply the same table style to the table in the Security Meeting Schedule section. Be sure to deselect the First Column option. Sort data in a table. Select the table in the Security Meeting Schedule section. Sort the table in ascending order based on the date in the first column. Insert a picture from a location on your computer. Place the cursor at the end of the first paragraph in the Security Staff section. Insert the security-badge picture from your student data file location. Add the following description as alt text for the picture of the badge: Security Enforcement Officer badge Resize the picture so the height is 1.75" and the width is 1.99". Position the picture using the Position in Bottom Right with Square Text Wrapping option. Apply the Drop Shadow Rectangle Quick Style to the picture. It is the fourth option in the gallery. Save and close the document. Upload and save your project file. Submit project for grading.
