The process of crime control is very political as it is challenged by other forces surrounding the strategies such as racial discrimination (Simon, 2017). This occurs as a result of the continued inequality between different racial groups. The minority find that the process is meant to pose discrimination. The crime control process in the US has historically considered the use of legislative measures but these strategies were found insufficient to control crime. The focus of the government in the current situation is on the reorganization of social groupings to prevent possible organizations that propagate illegal practices. The paper concentrates on some of the various crime control strategies that are commonly used. The police Crime Control strategies are usually beyond the traditional methods of law enforcement officials responding to the call for services to increase the prevention to crime, its intervention the effectiveness of the response through the outreach to the community, distribution of resources efficiently, crime mapping, and collection of data on crime or suspect location so as to increase efficiency. 1.
