The first phenomenon was the creation of new human society and the second was the growth abilities of these modern societies to exercise enormous power and influence over the remaining man-kind. The discovery of this made a move to eliminate poverty and to attain social equality a possibility. All this made it possible that ordinary people will participate in political life, and nations will build empires and that women will be equal to men and slavery will be something of the past. By this time Europe had the unprecedented power that it used to rewrite history in a way that these other nations saw it a centre for the human story.
