4-1 Discussion: Coping Behaviors
The key coping methods that I ranked the best in were strategic planning, which I scored
13 out of 16, and emotional support seeking, which I scored 16 out of 20. The highest places that
I identify with are absolutely the product of these two for two reasons. To keep me on schedule, I
still have a list of stuff I need to do. I still take a lot of care towards upcoming activities, and
days ahead, mapping them out. Regarding emotional help finding, I scored high because of how
much I dislike feeling stressed and in search of any sort of support. So, I am constantly reaching
out to my best friend, sister, or boyfriend to get it off my hands and to also get their insights and
guidance if possible. I know those main individuals will have my best interest at heart and will
be able to listen, trust, and be a listening, trustworthy friend when it is required. Being mindful of
the way one copes with tension is vitally necessary for a healthy wellbeing. They do not notice
that these methods they use to help them cope with difficult circumstances make their condition
much more stressful and the emotions they get because of following these coping strategies
escalate in severity, they do not know how to deal with the tension that comes from it, and they
are more stressed, frustrated, and uncomfortable. This specifically applies to emotional
management and without the self-awareness of feelings, if we struggle against our emotions or
whether we control the anger, we cannot regulate them. You ought to be able to assess and
control the feelings to be able to self-regulate. Caring habits refer to caring about oneself.
Coming up with coping mechanisms is for you, and then coming up with self-care is even.
Coping habits enable you to stay in contact with your feelings because in doing so you realize
