It’s uncommon for a child to report to school with symptoms of fatigue. This calls for immediate concern from these kids’ caretakers as this shows that the kids are not on their usual peppy self. Tiredness is a result of extreme playing but it’s quite unusual for one to report fatigue early in the morning and this should be investigated to find the reasons behind this sagging of the child’s energy level. Trauma is likely to be the cause of this fatigue. According to (American Psychological Association, 2008), traumatic events include domestic violence such as parents’ divorce, sexual violence, war experiences, physical abuse among others. One is therefore advised to look into the child’s behavior to identify this. A child suffering from this trauma looks tired, dull and stressed while doing his or her daily routines.
