Healthcare quality management
Introduction
Patients across the nation continue to suffer due to the increased complication of various
conditions (Lippi, Sanchis-Gomar & Cervellin, 2021). The value and quality of care that the
patients with different conditions receive do not correspond to the cost of services. The
continued suffering of patients seeking special attention in the healthcare sector has made it hard
for society to have a positive attitude towards the industry. Although the healthcare sector has
always wanted to give the patients quality care, lack of communication has always influenced the
perception of the local communities towards the nature of services they get from the healthcare
units. Lack of communication in the healthcare organizations, staff shortage and complications
of the procedures followed when addressing the needs of the patients often make it challenging
for the health providers to offer quality services that may meet all the community's needs
(Rangachari & Woods, 2020). In addition, lack of communication presents the opportunity for
other problems to occur within the premises. Incomplete documentation and medication errors
are problems that may arise concerning lack of communication.
Further, the problem creates challenges within the organization and misunderstandings
among the staff members. Despite the efforts of most of the leaders in the heartcare industry to
design better ways that may solve the current challenge, it is worth noting that the issue
continues to prevail in most healthcare organizations. Therefore, implementing better approaches
for solving the lack of communication will put the organization in a better way for growth and
forming a stable relationship with all.
