BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The concept refers to the management function, structure and performance of
organizations. The term comes from Latin ad - minister: ( "serve" ) or trahere ad
manus ( " handle " or "manage" ) .
The concept can also be used to appoint a public authority such as the government
of a territory, or responsible private entity, such as managers of a company.
Administration can be defined as the discipline that takes care of management of
resources ( whether material or human ) based on scientific criteria and oriented to
meet a specific objective .
Moreover, the public service of a State is all the organisms that are responsible for
implementing the necessary policies for compliance with laws and regulations .
Public buildings and officials also make the public administration , which appears
as the nexus between political power and citizenship.
Sometimes the term is used to describe administration of social science known as
business administration. This science studies the organization of companies and
how they manage the resources , processes and results of their activities.
Accounting ( offered useful for economic decision-making information) and
marketing (which studies the behavior of consumers in the market) , for example,
are considered administrative sciences.
For example: " If we want this company to grow , we have to improve the
management of resources" , "I think I still have much to learn about managing a
home," " Claims must be performed in the office of the administration."
Administration according to the TGA
In the General Theory of Administration , known by the acronym TGA, the
knowledge we have to date about the administration of companies and
organizations gather.
Management can be analyzed through the theory of organizations , which is
dedicated to studying the way people manage their resources and establish
interactions with the external environment to meet their needs .
There are two ways to define sharp differences with this concept: the
administration and discipline ( proncipios set of ideas and concepts that should be

In management theory occupies only a tiny space , it is not possible for this to exist

Meanwhile, George R. Terry , says planning is to achieve specific objectives based
on the efforts of others .
In the art of management is critical to understand the resources have to know find
appropriate targets based on them and develop an efficient administrative work.

organizations.
