GoTech Solutions is a specialized technology company that offers digital and

technical solutions to other companies and individuals. Its products and services are mainly

tailored for the oil and gas industry. The Company has its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi

Arabia, with branches in Egypt and Italy. Its vision is to bring unique technologies and digital

solutions to Saudi Arabia while partnering with reputable companies for the long term. Its

mission is to maintain diversity by investing in value creation for its partners while helping

them navigate through various technical and business challenges hindering their strategic

growth.

The Company's Management Style

According to Taucean et al. (2016), there are four broad management styles:

Autocratic, Consultative, Persuasive, and Participative Management styles. GoTech Solutions

Company utilizes the Autocratic style of management as evidenced by its management

structure. The Company is headed by a Chief Executive Officer, deputized by three regional

managers in three countries. The Company's thirty employees report to the regional

managers. Autocratic management is characterized by a strongly centralized system that

usually has a single source of authority. The command and follow nature of Autocratic

leadership makes it valuable when decisions have to be urgently made. For instance, in times

of crisis, this approach makes it easier to communicate recovery strategies. The system is also

known to improve productivity and efficiency in service delivery.

This management style has various challenges. According to Taucean et al. (2016),

this system creates a poor working relationship between employees and their supervisors

since employees feel their views are not deemed necessary. Staffs are more likely to dislike
