Spirit airline operates scheduled flights throughout the Caribbean, United States, Mexico, South America, America, and Latin. The company started in the year 1964 and was founded by Clipper Trucking Company (Rosenstein, 2013). In the year 2007, the company adopted a transition to an ultra-low-cost carrier as well as a low pilot strike. Currently, the airline follows an ultra-low-cost model that decouples perks and elements that are often inclusive of the traditional carriers' base ticket.
