Employees can choose to do what is right or wrong, but it is commendable that a person makes the right decisions at every point to avoid causing trouble or hurting others. In the scenario, Mike, an employee in a hospital as a lab technician is running late for work as a result of an accident that had occurred along the road he was using to commute to work. He, however, did not wish to be late since he had received a warning from his manager due to his persistent lateness. Mike was therefore keen not to be late again since he could not risk losing his job as he was the sole breadwinner of his family. When Mike got to work, he notices a spill on the floor which he ignores as he did not want to lose his job (Allied Health Community, 2016). Consequences Failure to Report Making a decision requires careful thoughts since some decisions may negatively influence other people.
