This is for my art class, and it is asking for two paragraphs explaining thoughts on the way the traditional study of art history focuses only on European and American artists and styles in a linear timeline of one movement leading to another while ignoring the art that was going on throughout the rest of the world. and it also saysThis is an issue that is being discussed among educators today. How can this be remedied? How would art history be taught in America if it covered the art of the world instead of focusing on European and American art?
