Human Interaction

For many years people have been experiencing various Evolution psychological changes

and experiences depending on the environment they live. Having to endure different

backgrounds and be able to relate with one another. How one interprets their experience when

having a personal contact with another person is different. Basing on my own experience and my

research undertaking to find out as to why people view others the way they do. Why they judge

one's looks and rate in percentages is an issue that has been in discussion for ages, great scholars

have tried to bring their minds together to help us figure out what makes us believe that what we

see is beautiful or attractive and not the other way round.

Men tend to be the stronger sex in human species at the same time men are described as

very selective; they like to enjoy a sense of pride, to dominate and to feel that they are the one in

control. Women, on the other hand, believe that men should be the provider and protector in case

of any danger or attack (Etcoff, 2011).

Evolutionary Psychology

According to Etcoff in her book “The survival of the prettiest” she has carried out some

studies to find out as to why Evolutionary psychology has been a great deal to human existence.

Having read this book, I decided to review my personal life experiences. Why do I think the way

I think? What makes me figure out things the way I do? Why I prefer women that are perceived

and said to be beautiful and good-looking instead of least good-looking? These are some of the

many questions that I have been experiencing. Looking into details, I realized that am not the

only one who experience the same feeling but also all my friends facing this feeling. Maybe it a

natural male feeling but to others it’s not.
