Introduction: Cybercrime is a term that defines any sort of crime that deals with the virtual world
or networks of connectivity. Such crimes that increases the chances of becoming a victim of
cybercrime includes those of identity theft, bullying or means of harassment by another, and
online credit card theft. Cybercrime can affect anyone of any knowledge and can occur through
protocols and measures that are hard to be detected (Jill R., 2013). So that one can decrease their
chances of becoming a victim of cybercrime, multiple security protocols must be implemented
within their connected means to the virtual world.
Thesis: So that one can decrease their chances of becoming a victim of cybercrime, multiple

A. Cybercrime began when hackers learned ways of breaking through a system to obtain
information for personal use or to conduct an illegal act upon an individual or group.
