DISCUSSION QUESTION 2
THESIS STATEMENT: Comma splices, run-on sentences and fragments are all terms that are
used to refer to incorrectly punctuated compound sentences hence writers face difficulties in
coordinating these gramma criminals, in the construction of grammatically correct and well-
punctuated sentences. To construct well punctuated and grammatically correct compound
sentence, it is, therefore, important to understand how to detect and correct these serious issues in
grammar and writing.
