Organizational Change
Organizational- extensive change which refers to the transformation that affects the overall
running and functions of any organization/firm/company. This kind of change stems from the
internal structure of the company; change in the management hierarchy and change in the
demand for products and services in the market.
As societies continue to evolve and adapt to changing demand of new products and services in
the emerging competitive market, organizations are forced to stay competitive and productively
active to thrive and survive. The introduction of a new management personnel affected the
employee-employer relationship complications such as loss of trust creating an atmosphere of
negativity in the employee minds. These changes ratcheted up stress level among employees and
everyone else affected by the change. This, in turn, leads to lesser commitment hence reduced
outcome in production and delivery of efficient products and services. For an organizational
change to be successful, everyone affected by the change should have a precise background
information about the change before it is implemented into work. This prepares the
psychological mindset of the target group about the move to occur which in turn reduces the
harmful attitude regarding the change to take place. In case of changes in the demand market of
the goods and services offered by the organization, a new department should be created that can
produce whatever the market is demanding.
