Plot, Theme, Conflict
Literature works are expressed through writing. A writer is in the discretion to utilize as
many parts of speech as they deem fit. The main focus is in making the literal work appealing to
the readers. The selected story for this analysis is the “Franconia Notch Village, New
Hampshire.” The writer describes the physical conditions surrounding this region (Steinbeck,
2017).
The main conflict outlined in this narrative is on infrastructural development. This region
has remains unchanged for years apart from small streets and the traffic. Such conditions have
made it be one of the backward regions of this ever-developing place.
The main theme of this narrative involves development. Every region of the nation is
under notable change. The village itself has experienced numerous advancements and also is
recognized as the neatest in the whole nation (Clugston, 2014). The challenge comes in when
matters of change and development. Though the region has improved, it still remains unchanged.
The writer has used descriptive language in identifying the various looks of the region
thus creating an image in the readers mind. He also uses a continuous flow in outlining the
process of making the observations that create the imagery. Such methods help the reader in
becoming an active part of the story thus understanding the theme more.
