Genres in Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction

Observation

I can see the plans Jimmie and his friend Vincent are making. Jimmie has utilizes fiction when I hear him

telling about the story of so business. Jimmie has also employed adventure in his Pulp Fiction film. I feel

a danger of murder when Jimmie keeps on having a dialogue over a business in a house they visit. All of

a sudden, I hear treble sound of gun shots and I eventually observe one of the residents in the houses

they visit being killed while seated on a chair. I also see Vincent hanging out in bar where there is

competition in various performances including dancing. Both western and drama genres are integrated

to bring out a complex action genre that is depicted in the actions people at the bar exhibit. I see

Vincent striking a conversation with a certain lady in a secluded place. I speculated they would do

something else together other than the drink they have. Suddenly, the lady convinces Vincent t go and

dance together so that she can win a trophy. The dancing they do leaves me in humor due to the funny

and creative styles Vincent and then lady portray-drama. I can see track shot of S Vincent’s wife dances

to the music in their house. When Vincent’s wife inhales a white powder-like poison, she faints and she

is rushed for medication. In the process of regaining her consciousness, I see Vincent piercing a syringe

containing a certain drug in in her chest. This action is enhanced by undershot that makes me develop

fear. This fictional scientific process works and Vincent’s wife get back to normal. Vincent and the

colleagues do not belief, and Vincent is shocked with the results. The act of piercing creates fear in me.

He falls down aside, an act that amuses me. When Jimmie and Vincent are ordered to clean a bloody

car, Jimmie creates humor when he expresses his disgust for doing the work.

Analysis

The film “Fiction Pulp” is directed by Quentin Tarantino. Some of the actor involves in the film include

John Travolta, Samuel Jackson, Amanda, Plummer, Ving Rhames, and Christopher Waken, among others.

The film focuses on crime as a major theme depicted in the actions, fiction, adventure, and western

genres utilized by Tarantino in its creation.

The film integrates action and venture through the various events that take place in the movie to bring

out the theme of crime. For example, at the beginning the film, a long angle shot taken from the bot of a

car gives information about a planned crime by Jimmie and Vincent, who are the major characters in the

film. In this act, Jimmie and his friend take guns from a car’s boot which they use to kill a person in a

certain house.

In the house they do the killing, Jimmie trikes a conversation with the people in the house and employs

both fiction and drama through a story about some business. Integrates action and adventure genres

through track movement sand dolly and track movements to reveals a possible outcome that is

eventually defined by murder. Well, this seems some kind of revenge.

As a part of composition in the film, Tarantino utilizes leadroom to integrate and also action and horror.

This is illustrated in the movement of vehicle that collide unexpectedly, an event that creates revenge in

a certain house whose environment reveals a crime scene. It is in this house that one of these who lies

in is also killed by strangers who came in as rivals on a revenge basis.
