Winston Churchill Leadership Background
The effectiveness and wit of leaders become evident in times of adversary and this is
what Winston Churchill has been known to have done during his leadership as British Prime
Minister. His true worth as a leader is recorded in the incidences during the World War II when
he was serving as the British Prime Minister (Simpson, 2015). Moreover, his decisions during
that time revealed that he was an able leader but still an emotional man. He drew his strength in
the motivation by others to defend themselves against the Nazi regime (Lim, 2015). Also, his
determination and persistence combined with his patriotic dedication to his country motivated
the Britons to push forth and win the battle alongside the Allies. He is quoted to have told his
people to keep calm and carry on and with this; he won the war and the hearts of the people. This
is the reason why Winston Churchill has been chosen as the leader to be discussed in this study.
