Introduction
Native Americans are that part of the population residing in the United States believed to
have been the first inhabitants of America. They are at times also referred to as American
Indians. Native Americans are believed to have originated from India through Bering Bridge
from Asia into Alaska, (Cross et al., 2017). United States developmental process gives credit to
the Native Americans in their contribution regarding economic growth, and their input was both
direct and indirect;
Development in the United States by Native Americans
Native Americans are the pioneers for the development of Americans way of life and
culture. Among the contributions include, the food, games like canoeing, snowshoeing, US
government formation, farming methods among others, (Fountain, 2014). Culture is a
fundamental aspect of any country, and therefore the Native Americans contributed significantly
on how the current US population carries out their developmental activities.
Moreover, Native Americans are most significant contributors to WW1, WWII, and other
campaigns. They directly contributed to the growth of American defense as volunteers in war
fields as well as technical staff operations. This subsequently ensured America was safe for
economic development.
Again, the Native Americans introduced several games that are nowadays played by the
United States citizens. The Native Americans founded games including tobogganing,
snowshoeing, relay races, ball games, tug-of-war, and canoeing and up to now the Americans
still enjoy them, (Cross et al., 2017). Several youth groups including the Girl Scouts, YMCA,
