What is DDG-1000?
A DDG-1000 can be defined as a missile which is guided by the United States navy for
destroying missiles. Being the lead ship in the Zumwalt category is classified as the first ship to
possess the name for Admiral Elmo Zumwalt.
The DDG-1000 missile destroyer was made by the US government for the navies to help
them counter the problems that may occur in the water masses due to a terror attack or another
kind of wars. The destroyers used to serve the USN as the powerful and very efficient ship that
were used to counter sea threats. The size of the ship were typical thus giving aid to the USN the
ability to deal with very closely to the sea shores thereby, maintaining the capabilities involved
in the operation that required them to open-sea and the deep water travel. The armament could
consist of various types of weapons that assisted in the helping of countering any modern threat
that could be seen in the masses of water. With this kind of missile the USN was very confident
that the missile, would assist the navy in the event an attack occurred in the sea or large water
masses.
