Hard Work
With hard work, wealth we acquire,
People must work hard, regardless of the background,
My friend John, with the entire parent’s wealth,
Believed in hard work,
He created his own, even though the parents could offer.
John struggled through quizzes and grades, short cuts he abhorred,
With the knowledge in maths, he resorted to be generous,
Humble he remained, the less fortunate he helped,
As materially endowed as he was, a big heart he had,
The hand the gets, is the hand that gave,
We should work hard, wealth should not blind us,
Through struggle, we earn our respect.
