I. Rationale
Kapingkong National High School is rich in trees such as mahogany and
mango trees which can be a source of fruits, charcoal and woods. It was planted
during the administration of the late Mr. Ely B. Simon. As a proponent of this
Income Generating Project, it sinks on my mind that in can be a good source of
income for the school for we are implementing the tree trimming and pruning
twice every year.
Pruning is the most common tree maintenance procedure to maintain
structural integrity and aesthetics. The goal is to remove branches, improve the
tree’s structure, and direct new, healthy growth. It is one of the best things you
can do for your trees. It is both an investment in the long term health of the
plants and in the overall look and safety of the school property as well. Safety is
everybody’s concern. Aside from its benefits we can save potential damages of
the school buildings from fallen branches.
