Youth gang culture has resulted to increased imprisonment of young adults. According to
Kelly et al. (2019), aggressive inappropriate behavior among youth is a widespread problem as
well as a health hazard. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's
monitoring notify on youth conduct problems in the United States, 24.7 percent of high school
students were involved in a physical confrontation in the prior 12 months in 2013, and that rate is
expected to be 22.6 percent in 2015. In 2015, there were 48,083 juveniles detained in apartment
building facilities across the country, with 12,087 being held for criminal offences (Kelly et al.,
2019). While physical aggressive and violent behavior is performed among neighborhood youth,
it is much more prevalent among detained juveniles. As a result, these aggressive actions have
repercussions for future offenses caused by managerial staff within the organization.
Correspondingly, emotional trauma is common in detention centers. Recurring infractions can
indicate unmet mental health needs and have more serious repercussions than community
offenses.
Recidivism has increased to state of violence among minorities groups in the United
States. According to Castro (2018), the predominate preferred outcome of postsecondary
learning in the specific context of prison necessitates a specific type of intervention, and in a
societal structure where Black, African American, and Latinx people are systematically
discriminated against for incarceration, justifications for reduced recidivism are
disproportionately plotted onto the carcasses of Colored people (Pennington, 2019). Recidivism
has significantly contributed to state violence, which is disproportionately directed at people of
