Proposal
The state of inequality between men and women in different parts of the world remains
one of the major social issues that humankind is yet to completely address despite the progress
made in racial, education, and health inequality among others. Therefore, it is proposed that an
examination of the origin of gender inequality in both developed and developing societies is

provide insights into the various dimensions of the problem, as well as potential effective
solutions regarding socioeconomic and political policies that would remove the barriers to
equality between men and women.
