FEEDBACK STRATEGIES 2
Introduction
Change is inevitable and essential in any organization. However, measures to bring
organizational change in most cases are faced with resistance from different workers and
stakeholders. This is because the change affects them in one way or another and as a result, one
finds himself or herself resisting change. Consequently, it is imperative to come up with
strategies before implementing change to ensure that the staff is aware of the change to reduce
chances of resistance (Freeman, 2010). When there is an organizational diagnosis, the results
also are received differently by different stakeholders. The data that is collected from the
diagnosis can affect the opinions of different senior leaders within the organization. To ensure
that the findings are presented to the team in a way that will make them understand and not react
in a way that is going to affect the organization, it is imperative to come up with good and viable
strategies which will help in the end to bring the stakeholders in the same thought about the
findings. This study looks at these strategies during stakeholder meeting.
Key Stakeholder Group Meeting
One of the best strategies will be the use of key stakeholder meeting. A stakeholder
meeting involves all internal stakeholders and sometimes some external stakeholders with
interest in the success of the organization. This is the best method because it involves all the
senior leaders within the organization hence ensuring that the presentation of the data collected
will be heard by all leaders and not one leader at a time. It will offer an opportunity for every
senior leader to express their thinking and opinion regarding the feedback of the organization
diagnosis. A stakeholder meeting will also ensure that all stakeholders within the organization
will have the chance to receive first-hand information about the data.
